By Greg Witter, CougFan: The timing and tears, coupled with Pat Chun’s “we’ll see where life takes us” comment Thursday relative to a contract extension for Kyle Smith, would suggest Smith’s move to Stanford was a done deal a week or more ago.
From a purely basketball standpoint, Stanford is not a dream job.
