Washington softball receives $22M gift for major facilities upgrade

On Tuesday morning, the University of Washington announced that, thanks to a $22 million gift from Tom McFarlan, coach Heather Tarr’s program’s facilities will be among the best in the nation in the not-too-distant future. For a program that has made 32 consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament, it seems like a long-overdue upgrade.
