Washington football lands commitment from 4-star safety Gavin Day

By Chad Simmons, On3: Las Vegas Faith Lutheran safety Gavin Day visited Washington for the first time last summer. Other schools came on strong, and schools like Arizona, Iowa and Utah were at the top, but the Huskies stayed persistent and got him on campus for an official visit.

That is all it took. During his official visit this weekend, Day committed to Jedd Fisch and the University of Washington.

Gavin Day was offered last month by Washington and he took an official visit to Seattle this weekend. He has now committed to the Huskies.
