By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: That was about as good an ending as Jedd Fisch could have hoped for in his second season with the Washington Huskies, as his team cruised to a 38-10 victory over the Boise State Broncos in the Bucked Up LA Bowl hosted by Gronk.
After yet another slow start for the Huskies in the first quarter, Washington’s offense exploded for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns in the second quarter. All of that was sparked by sophomore quarterback Demond Williams Jr., who finished his day with 214 yards and 4 touchdowns, and connected with a wide-open Denzel Boston for a 78-yard score early in the period to start a barrage of 38 unanswered points.
