By Lars Hanson, Huskies Wire: The University of Washington and Alaska Airlines announced Friday a renewal on their existing partnership with a 10-year agreement for naming rights to Hec Edmundson Pavillion while maintaining the local company as the official airline for the school.
For a reported $28 million, the deal still allows UW athletic director Pat Chun to get a separate deal for the rights to Husky Stadium and the field, which are headed to the open market ahead of the 2026 college football season with the current agreement between the university and the airline set to expire in June.
