By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: Jedd Fisch is doing everything he can to upgrade the Washington Huskies‘ special teams unit. After bringing in former Purdue special teams coordinator Chris Petrilli to lead the group, according to a report from FootballScoop, he’s bringing in another promising assistant to help with the group in Charlotte’s Greg Froelich.
Froelich, a former Michigan offensive lineman who played for Fisch in 2015 and 2016, has served as the 49ers’ special teams coordinator and run game since 2023 and has led one of the nation’s best units.
