By Chris Fetters, Dawgman: Let the battles commence! In a little over a week, Washington will start its spring football campaign, and that’s where you start to see all the work put in during the offseason, the weight that’s been put on or taken off, as well as speed and strength gains. Washington’s new-look offense, designed by first-year offensive coordinator John Donovan, was 57th nationally in total offense (402.8 ypg), good enough for ninth in the Pac-12. They were 48th in scoring (30.2 ppg), which put them fifth, as well as 39th in yards per play (6.03 ypp), which was fourth in the Pac-12.
