By Michael McCammon, Cardinal Authority: Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough has announced he will forgo the trip to the Sun Bowl to continue preparing for the NFL Draft.
The Chandler, Ariz., native transferred to UofL from Texas Tech ahead of the 2024 season and guided the Cardinals to an 8-4 record this season. His many highlights include the program’s first-ever win against Clemson and a convincing win at rival Kentucky to close the regular season.
Playing in all 12 games this season, the 6-foot-5, 225-pound Shough threw for 3,195 yards and 23 touchdowns with just six interceptions. He completed 62.7% of his attempts.
