KOMO News: The University of Washington baseball program was fined and put on probation by the NCAA for violating a recruiting rule, the NCAA announced Friday.
An investigation found that over a three-year period, UW paid nearly $7,800 in airfare for 23 parents of 14 prospects to accompany their sons on an official recruiting trip to Seattle.
