Utah high school's are playing fall football, drawing some Oregon athletes

OregonLive: Concerns about the coronavirus outbreak caused Oregon to move its high school football season from this fall to next March.

Utah? It’s full steam ahead, or least with as much steam that’s possible during a pandemic. Last Thursday and Friday, Utah schools played 51 football games during the season’s opening week.

The state association's director of football says Utah, its population typically conservative, "contributed to looking at ways to make it happen instead of ways not to make it happen.”
