Utah hoops HC Craig Smith hires former Ute assistant coach DeMarlo Slocum

By Joe Coles, Deseret News: New Utah basketball coach Craig Smith has reportedly made the first addition to his coaching staff.

Smith is hiring UNLV assistant coach DeMarlo Slocum to the staff, as reported by Sam Gordon of the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Alex Markham of Rivals.

Prior to two years with UNLV, Slocum was a Ute assistant under Larry Krystkowiak from 2011-2019.
