By Sammy Mora, UteZone: Utah has added a stellar linebacker for their 2026 class in Meridian (ID) stand-out LaGary Mitchell. Mitchell visited Utah this weekend and flipped his commitment from Boise State to the Utes.
Mitchell is the No. 3 player in the state of Idaho and the No. 73 ranked linebacker overall. The 6’3″ 208-pound hard hitter is rated an 87 according to 247Sports with a slightly lower composite score of 0.8470.
