By Steve Bartle, KSL Sports: Utah men’s basketball secured it’s first transfer portal addition and impact piece to its roster this week, as Utah Valley standout Jackson Holcombe announced his commitment to the Runnin’ Utes.
Holcombe arrives in Salt Lake City after emerging as one of the most productive and versatile players in the Western Athletic Conference.
The 6-foot-7 guard/forward led Utah Valley in nearly every major category during the 2025–26 season, averaging 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.2 steals per game while shooting 53% from the field.
