By R.J. Abeytia, USCFootball.com: USC is part of a lawsuit filed by the National Labor Relations board against the university, the NCAA and the Pac-12. The lawsuit alleges the Trojans, NCAA and their former conference home are de facto employers of the schools’ revenue sport (football, men’s and women’s basketball) student-athletes.
A ruling in the NLRB’s favor that remained upheld through inevitable appeals would change the college football landscape forever.
