Conquest Chronicles: Announced on Wednesday, USC Trojans defensive tackle Jay Tufele has decided to opt out of the 2020-21 season (whenever or if ever it gets played) and has declared for the 2021 NFL Draft.
Many thought he may have declared for the 2020 NFL draft but instead chose to return for another run at the Pac-12 Championship earlier this year. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, USC’s season was at least moved to the 2021 calendar year, during the height of the preparation time for the 2021 NFL Draft.
