USC's Evan Mobley one of 10 Naismith Defensive Player of Year semifinalists

USCFootball: USC freshman Evan Mobley continues to be in a class all by himself. Mobley was the lone underclassman to be named a semifinalist for the 2020-21 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year award.

The Atlanta Tipoff Club, which presents the award annually to the top college basketball defender, Thursday announced a list of 10 semifinalists. Nine are juniors and seniors. Then there’s Mobley.
