USC scores most points in a game since 1930, blows out Missouri State 73-13

By R.J. Abeytia, USCFootball.com: USC hit Missouri State with a flurry of haymakers over the first half and scored a 73-13 knockout of the Bears in the Trojans’ season opener.

Lake McRee had a career-best 64-yard touchdown reception, transfer safety Bishop Fitgerald returned an interception 39 yards for a score and transfer running back Eli Sanders added a 73-yard touchdown catch to salt away USC’s first win of the season before halftime.
