USCFootball: USC safety Talanoa Hufanga became a consensus All-American Thursday following the release of the Walter Camp 2020 All-American teams. The Trojan defender was one of 26 players selected to the first team and the sole Pac-12 representative. Hufanga is USC’s first consensus All-American since cornerback Adoree’ Jackson in 2016.
The Pac-12 Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year has received multiple postseason honors since USC’s season came to an end in December. In addition to Thursday’s announcement, Hufanga has first-team selections from ESPN, The Athletic, USA Today, Sporting News and the Associated Press. He was also named a second-team selection by Pro Football Focus.
