By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: When the news hit that Mario Cristobal was leaving Oregon and going to Miami to be the Hurricanes’ next head coach, history was made in the Pac-12.
It’s not the way anyone expected history to be made, but the fact was as plain as day: Oregon joined Washington (Jimmy Lake to Kalen DeBoer) and USC (Clay Helton to Lincoln Riley) as a football program which needed to make a coaching change in 2021.
