USC hires away Cal's Director of Recruiting Strategy Marshall Cherrington

USCFootball: It won’t become official until next week but word is out that USC has hired Marshall Cherrington away from Cal in what is a huge pickup for the Trojans.

The recruiting game has radically changed over the last few years and more then ever, the point person or lead recruiter on a player isn’t always a coach any more, it’s a recruiting assistant.
