By Keely Eure, USCFootball: Ishmael Sopsher, the defensive line transfer from Alabama, underwent surgery for compartment leg syndrome this offseason, USC head coach Clay Helton revealed Monday
“He had a compartment syndrome surgery, which is very similar to what Michael Pittman had in Indianapolis, and is recovering from that,” Helton said. “Don’t know how much we’ll get him in spring, to be honest with you, but [he’s] just coming off that surgery. Hopefully he’ll be back with us and be back going sometime later this spring, and obviously, hopefully fully healthy, ready to go this summer.”
