By Chris Trevino, USCFootball.com: The Trojans officially completed its 2026 schedule on Tuesday with an announcement that San Jose State will serve as the season opener. It will be a Week 0 game and will be played on Aug. 29th in the L.A. Coliseum.
It will be the seventh all-time meeting between the two West Coast programs; USC is 6-0 all-time against the Spartans. This is the first meeting since 2023 when the Trojans kicked off the year with a 56-28 Coliseum victory.
