By Paul Myerberg, USA TODAY: Some of college football’s most iconic locations reside in the Big Ten.

That includes the Horseshoe, Autzen Stadium, Beaver Stadium and Michigan Stadium, venues that have helped define the sport for generations.

Yeah, there are some stinkers, too. Stadiums at Maryland, Rutgers and (for now) Northwestern don’t necessarily move the needle, let alone provide a home-field advantage for the Terrapins, Scarlet Knights and Wildcats.

But the top of the list is elite. Here’s how USA TODAY Sports ranks the Big Ten home fields:
