By Dean Straka, 247Sports: Marcus Arroyo will not return as UNLV head football coach, Pete Thamel reports. Arroyo went 7-23 in three seasons guiding the Rebels.
Arroyo failed to record a winning season as head coach, though the reported decision comes despite UNLV winning five games in 2022 after winning just two games combined in Arroyo’s first two years at the helm. UNLV failed to win a game during the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season before going 2-10 in 2021.
