By Mike Regalado, Bruin Report Online: Former UCLA forward Michaela Onyenwere has been selected 6th overall in the 2021 WNBA Draft by the New York Liberty.
This past season, she led the Bruins in both scoring and rebounding with 19.2 points per game and 7.2 rebounds. Onyenwere had seven 20+ point games with with five of those coming in the last six games of the season. She had also had a career-high 33 points which came in an upset win at Oregon back in January. Onyenwere also had five double-doubles this season.
