By Robbie Weinstein, 247Sports: UCLA coach Chip Kelly gave a terse response to a question at his media availability Monday regarding a report that named him as a possible candidate for the head-coaching job at Washington, a post that opened earlier in the day when the Huskies fired Jimmy Lake.
Kelly, who has led the Bruins to a 6-4 record this season ahead of Saturday’s upcoming game at USC, said that the reporter in question was attempting to get Kelly fired.
