By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: UCLA women’s basketball is the favorite to win the Big Ten championship next season. The Bruins will be a Women’s Final Four contender. They should be playing top nonconference opponents, and they are acting on that need. UCLA has scheduled a home-and-home series against the Tennessee Lady Vols for 2025 and 2026.
Tennessee was a Sweet 16 team last season and is a women’s basketball blue-blood. The Lady Vols are second to UConn on the all-time list of national championships, with eight.
