UCLA transfer offensive lineman Tavake Tuikolovatu signs with Kansas Jayhawks

By Wade Peery, On3 Sports: UCLA transfer offensive lineman Tavake Tuikolovatu signed with the Kansas Jayhawks on Christmas Eve, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. The Bruins finished their 2024 campaign 5-7 overall. And the Kansas Jayhawks finished with a 5-7 overall record, too.

Tuikolovatu played in 12 games this year and made only one start against the Minnesota Golden Gophers (Oct. 12th). In 2023, he played in only one game for the Bruins (North Carolina Central–Sept. 16th).

The good news for Tuikolovatu is that Kansas star quarterback Jalon Daniels returns for one more season in Lawrence. He’s one of the most dynamic players in the Big 12 and one of the most explosive quarterbacks in KU football history.
