UCLA the only school in 2025 to make CWS in both softball and baseball

By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: UCLA is the best bat-and-ball sports school in the United States in 2025. Hot take? Embellishment? Exaggeration? No. It’s a basic fact. Softball and baseball are the two bat-and-ball sports in college athletics. UCLA is the only school in 2025 to make the College World Series in both softball and baseball.

The softball team reached the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City. The men are heading to Omaha for the baseball College World Series later this week.
