When Texas-San Antonio knocked off No. 2 national seed Texas one week ago, UCLA was able to host a lower seed in the Super Regional round of the NCAA Baseball Tournament, instead of having to fly across two time zones to face Texas on the road.
Everything was set up beautifully for the Bruins. They pounced on their big chance.
