UCLA football lands four-star safety commit Pole Moala for 2027

By Ryan Lorenz, UCLA Wire: UCLA football continues to turn around their program with four-star safety Pole Moala committing to the program on April 12, according to college football reporter Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.

As of April 14, Rivals has Moala ranked as the No. 28 safety, the No. 339 best prospect in the nation and 32nd best player in California for the 2027 recruiting class. The young safety played played at Leuzinger High School for the past two seasons, before the 6-foot and 185 pounds Moala transferred to Santa Margarita Catholic high school in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., according to 247Sports.

Moala took snaps on both sides of the ball with time as a cornerback, safety, running back and receiver in 2025.
