By Tracy Pierson, Bruin Report Online: UCLA defensive coordinator Bill McGovern will coach in the Sun Bowl, but whether he’s on the staff next season is something that needs to be worked out, according to sources.
McGovern stepped away from the program midseason. UCLA didn’t reveal the reason behind McGovern’s absence, but it’s pretty well known it was because of a serious health issue.
