By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: UCLA baseball is staying home, not going home. The Bruins are very much alive in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, but they aren’t catching a plane to any game locations. They will remain in their home ballyard, Jackie Robinson Stadium, for the NCAA Super Regional round this coming weekend. The Bruins earned that reward with a truly super performance this weekend in Los Angeles.
They swept through their NCAA regional by beating UC Irvine 8-5 on Sunday night, in a game which ended close to midnight local time.
