By Sam Gillenwater, On3: Tulane took a chance in July with the addition of QB Jake Retzlaff. Now he will start Week 1 against Northwestern, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Despite his short time on the roster, he earns the Week 1 nod as Iowa transfer Brendan Sullivan works through injury. Retzlaff beat out Donovan Leary and Kadin Semonza.
