USC’s offensive line coach said before spring camp opened his hope was for his crowded room to create as many tough calls as possible when it comes to the eventual starting five up front. The Trojans returned all five starters from last season in Elijah Paige, Tobias Raymond, Kilian O’Connor, Alani Noa and Justin Tauanuu. O’Connor and Tauannu missed spring, and it really opened up opportunities for young players like Elijah Vaikona, Willi Wascher, Kannon Smith, Keenyi Pepe and Breck Kolojay.
