By Barkley Truax, On3 Sports: The Jaguars have made the call on two-way star Travis Hunter‘s initial designation in the Jacksonville lineup. He’s officially slotted as a starting wide receiver and a second-string cornerback.
Hunter was selected No. 2 overall by the Jaguars during April’s 2025 NFL Draft. He enters his rookie season as the reigning Heisman Trophy winner following his junior season at Colorado.
Tyson Campbell and Jourdan Lewis were tabbed as first-team cornerbacks during training camp. At this point, both CB2 spots are up for grabs with the language in the depth chart stating Travis Hunter or Jarrian Jones, and Montaric Brown or Levi Wallace.
