By Adam Munsterteiger, BuffStampede: The quarterback competition at Colorado is sure to have some ebbs and flows before a starter is named sometime in August. Freshman Brendon Lewis flashed his potential in the Alamo Bowl, senior Sam Noyer is recovering from shoulder surgery but started all six games in 2020, while Tennessee transfer J.T. Shrout is getting acclimated to life as a student-athlete in Boulder.
“I’m still getting used to the snow a little bit but I am really loving it out here so far,” Shrout said. “It is a little bit closer to my home in California which is really nice. I love the school, the atmosphere out here. I have been getting to go hang out with guys outside the facility and build a relationship with them and spend a lot of time in here with the coaching staff, trying to catch up on the playbook and everything. It has been a good transition.”
