By Jackson Moore, Bear Territory: Cal’s Early National Signing Day haul included 14 signees, four of which were FBS transfers. One of the biggest day-of gets came by way East Coast power Clemson. Former Tiger linebacker Sergio Allen signed with the Golden Bears despite several other Power-5 schools courting him.
“A lot” of schools came calling for Allen in the portal, but Cal separated itself as the option.
