By Eric Townsend, Zona Zealots: It has been a rough year for Arizona Athletics. Since the COVID pandemic hit, it has put a real damper on the Wildcats’ finances, and in particular the Arizona Football program.
As we all saw this past year, things got especially challenging when the team could not host any fans at Arizona Stadium and even had to pay Kevin Sumlin a handsome $7 million to end his contract.
