By Charlie Strella, Buffaloes Wire: Athletic sponsorship opportunities are only growing with the evolution of Name, Image and Likenesses (NIL) deals. Schools and athletic departments are searching for creative ways to generate revenue, and one newer option that could be coming to college football is a jersey patch sponsorship.
Jersey sponsors are already in some professional sports, most notably the NBA, and appear poised to enter the college ranks at any time now.
