By Jason Scheer, Wildcat Authority: When Tommy Lloyd took the podium last week, the majority of the questions were about his time at Gonzaga. Lloyd isn’t going to shy away from his past, but he also recognizes the fact that he is starting a new phase in his career.
Arizona’s new head coach knows what he is stepping into and respects what the Arizona program has stood for.
“I understand the tradition and the passion that surrounds the Arizona basketball program, and I smile when I say that,” Lloyd said.
