By Brian J. Pedersen, Arizona Desert Swarm: It’s already been established that Arizona can’t simply replace a player like Tetairoa McMillan. No one can possibly have the same almost telepathic connection with the quarterback like T-Mac had with Noah Fifita, his best friend and longtime teammate.
Still, establishing a passer-to-pass catcher bond is necessary for each member of the Wildcats’ wide receiver room as that group works to fill the void—and all the production—left by McMillan. He alone was responsible for more than 30 percentage of the catches, receiving yardage and touchdowns in 2024.
