By Jeff Howe, Horns247: Texas head coach Chris Beard landed perhaps the most significant piece in his quest to build a competitive roster in his debut campaign with the commitment of Utah transfer Timmy Allen on Tuesday. The 6-foot-6-inch forward made his commitment to the Longhorns official moments after multiple reports, including one from Brandon Jenkins of 247Sports, stated Allen was headed to the Forty Acres.
