By Chris Karpman, SunDevil Source: The crown of a Texas State helmet smashed into the facemask of Sam Leavitt early in the fourth quarter in an obvious display of targeting that resulted in a 15-yard penalty. Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham said his redshirt freshman quarterback, starting a game on the road for the first time, was “destroyed” by the hit.
Except, he wasn’t.
