Conference USA lost two teams on July 1 when Louisiana Tech joined the Sun Belt Conference and UTEP entered the Mountain West Conference. The latter is a league many Aggies fans are eager to join, especially now that it houses both of NM State’s main rivals, UTEP and New Mexico.
