By Chris Karpman, SunDevil Source: Hines Ward, a former Super Bowl MVP and four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver with the Pittsburgh Steelers, is a candidate to fill Arizona State’s open wide receiver coaching job, according to people familiar with the search.
The Sun Devils hosted Ward at their Tuesday spring practice and met with him about the vacancy one day after former New England Patriots wide receiver coach Troy Brown interviewed with ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham for the same job.
