By Chris Karpman: Senior wide receiver Malik McClain, who did not dress for Arizona State’s win over Kansas on Saturday, will sit out the rest of the season to preserve a redshirt season. He is planning to return to play for the Sun Devils next season.
McClain played in ASU’s first four games of the season — the most allowed to preserve redshirt status — but did not record a reception in 53 snaps.
