By Lorenzo J. Reyna, Cardinal 247: Maxime Raynaud doesn’t have to trek far for his next basketball team. The Stanford star will trek two hours and 20 minutes north to “light the beam.”
The Cardinal big man landed with the Sacramento Kings at No. 42 overall in the 2025 NBA Draft on Thursday.
Raynaud shared one previous Kings connection before the draft. He was brief teammates with Andrej Stojakovic – the son of franchise legend Peja.
