By Jackson Moore, Cardinal 247: The Stanford Cardinal made the cut for one of the nation’s top defensive line recruits of the 2022 class. Arlington (Texas) Martin High School defensive end Ernest Cooper IV named Stanford in his Top 5 schools.
Cooper named Stanford, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and Texas A&M as his Top 5 schools. Cooper holds 26 reported offers – Schools that did not make this list include Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Colorado, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Penn State, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, Tulsa, USC and Vanderbilt.
