Sorenson: WSU's John Mateer has a $1 million NIL offer from another school

By Barry Bolton, CougFan: Washington State quarterback John Mateer has a $1 million offer to play next season at another school, Paul Sorensen said Tuesday on the Old Crimson Podcast. Mateer is not in the transfer portal and any emissaries from other schools would be blatantly breaking the rules by reaching out, let alone putting an offer on the table.

But such malfeasance has been going on since the inception of the NIL era, with the NCAA playing the role of Nero and College Football standing in for Rome.
